A man driving an SUV, along with an infant sitting in the seat behind him, were killed after their SUV was struck by a truck in the intersection at I-225 and East 17th Place. The crash caused the SUV to spin, and hit a utility pole. A woman who was sitting in the back seat next to the child was seriously injured as well, but is expected to live. The truck that hit the SUV was driven by a minor, and there was another minor passenger in the truck. Both say that they had a green light at the intersection.
