Despite being in a left-turn-only lane, a driver went straight through a busy intersection, according to CBS Denver. Driving straight through the intersection at Lincoln and Speer out of the left turn lane, the driver struck a car in the opposite turn lane. The other car was pushed into a light pole, and the driver was rushed to the hospital, where she was listed in critical condition. The crash occurred shortly before 6:00 pm on Sunday. The driver who went through the intersection suffered minor injuries, and was issued a citation by the police.
